The European Union is helping Senegal to take a big step towards greater efficiency and, ultimately, autonomy in the production and distribution of vaccines and medication.
The long-term goal is to reduce Africa’s dependence on vaccine and medical imports and to strengthen the continent’s pandemic resilience by investing in local production facilities.
